Hi,

Since the late 1980's I made my living as a comedy variety performer, travelling the world doing my act in cabaret, theatres and at comedy festivals.
I never thought I'd find something that would give me as much pleasure - then I remembered how much I'd enjoyed taking pictures as a child and picked up a
camera again.

These days I still perform (www.MatRicardo.com for more about that side of me), but photography has become my central passion, and I'm very happy with that.

I specialise in work documenting performers, from portraits and headshots, to in-performance shoots and verite backstage work.
I also love street photography and environmental portraiture.

Much of it can also be purchased (at very reasonable prices!) in my online store, as greetings cards or a wide variety of prints.
